AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Nash Construction
Company for the construction of sanitary lateral sewers in Special
Benefit Subdistrict No. 37 (East Iveland), with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive
Director to Nash Construction Company, as the lowest responsible
bidder, for the construction of sanitary lateral sewers in Special
Benefit Subdistrict No. 37 (East Iveland) of THE METROPOLITAN ST.
LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
18th day of November, 1958 and formally executed on the 24th day of
November, 1958 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following
form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of
a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed
being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 4, 1958.
