AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Latta Bridge
Co., Inc. for the construction of sanitary lateral sewers in
Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 26 (Charjean Drive), with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Latta Bridge Co., Inc., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary lateral
sewers in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 26 (Charjean Drive) of
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 21st day of April, 1959 and formally
executed on the 28th day of April, 1959 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District, in the following form:
Ord. No. 282
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 7, 1959.
