HomeMy Public PortalAbout00289 (The following Ordinance was adopted on June 11, 1959) O R D I N A N C E NO. 289 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a special benefit subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 73 (Wheaton-Bel Nor Trunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a special benefit subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed or improved as a special benefit to the land therein. Such subdistrict shall be known as Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 73 (Wheaton-Bel Nor Trunk). Section .Two. The boundaries of Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 73 (Wheaton-Bel Nor Trunk) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 WHEATON BEL NOR TRUNK SUBDISTRICT Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Carson Road (50 feet wide) with the easterly prolongation of the south line of Lot 20 in Block 1 of Lyndhurst, a subdivision recorded in the St. Louis County Recorder's Office in Book 9, Page 4; thence westwardly along said produced line and along the south line of said Lot 20 of said Block 1 to the west line of said Lot 20; thence southwardly along the west line of Lot 20 of said Block 1 to the southeast corner of Lot 16 of said Block 1; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 16 and along said line produced westwardly across Lyndhurst Avenue (50 feet wide) and along the south line of Lot 18 of Block 2 of said Lyndhurst Subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 18; thence southwardly along the east line of Lots 12 to 10 inclusive of Block 2 of said Lyndhurst Subdivision to the southeast corner of said Lot 10; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 10 and along its prolongation westwardly across Hanley Road (50 feet wide) and along the south line of Lots 18 and 7 of Block 3 of said Lyndhurst Subdivision and along the westwardly prolongation of said south line of said Lot 7 across Wheaton Avenue (50 feet wide) and along the south line of Lot 18 of Block 2 of said Lyndhurst Subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 2 and 1 of said Block 4 and along said west line projected southwardly across St. 3 Charles Rock Road to its intersection with the southwestern line of said St. Charles Rock Road; thence northwestwardly along said southwestern line of said St. Charles Rock Road to its intersection with a line four hundred (400) feet northwest of and parallel to the northwest line of North and South Road (50 feet wide) formerly Spring Avenue running southwestwardly from St. Charles Rock Road; thence southwestwardly along said last men- tioned parallel line a distance of seven hundred (700) feet from the southwestern line of said St. Charles Rock Road; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 10 in Block 7 of Midland Heights, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 57 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence southwardly along the eastern line of Lot 11 in said Block 7 to the southeastern corner of said Lot 11; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Lot 11 to its intersection with the eastern line of Bristow Avenue (formerly Baldwin Avenue), (40 feet wide); thence westwardly across said Bristow Avenue in a direct line to the southeast corner of a lot now or formerly of Ralph M. and Evelyn G. McCormick as recorded in Deed Book 3411 on Page 613 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said McCormick property to its intersection with the east line of a lot now or formerly of V. W. and L. Haeffner as recorded in Deed Book 2162 on Page 536 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said east line of said Haeffner property to the southeast corner of said Haeffner property; thence 4 westwardly along the south line of said Haeffner property and said line produced westwardly to its intersection with the eastern line of Lot 4 in Block 8 of said Midland Heights Subdivision; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 4 to its intersection with the northeastern line of Lot 15 of Central Addition to Midland Heights according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5 on Page 79 in the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said northeastern line of said Lot 15 to the northwestern corner of said Lot 15; thence southwardly along the western line of said Lot 15 and along the southward prolongation thereof to its intersection with the northeastern line of the right-of-way of the St. Louis Public Service Company on Midland Boulevard; thence southeastwardly and southwardly along the northeastern and eastern lines of the right-of-way of the St. Louis Public Service Company on Midland Boulevard to its intersection with the southern line of Wheaton, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6 on Page 20 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said southern line of said Wheaton and along its direct eastwardly prolongation to its intersection with the centerline of Hanley Road; thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the westward projection of the south line of property now or formerly of Roy Crosby Company as recorded in Deed Book 2798 on Page 536 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said westward projection and along said property line and along the 5 eastward projection of said property line to its intersection with the centerline of St. Charles Rock Road; thence southeastwardly along said centerline of St. Charles Rock Road to its intersection with the southward projection of the east line of Carson Road; thence northwardly along said projection and along said east line to its intersection with the south line of Belleview Park #1 as recorded in Plat Book 38 on Page 38 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said subdivision and along the south line of Belleview Park #3 as recorded in Plat Book 45 on Page 22 of the St. Louis County Records, to its intersection with the westernmost line of the Normandy Country Club, W. Harold Emerson, Trustee; thence southwardly along the common lot line between said Normandy Country Club on the East and Belleview Acres, Incorporated and Lake Charles Burial Park on the West to its intersection with the northeast line of St. Charles Rock Road; thence southeastwardly along said northeast line to its intersection with the centerline of Normandy Drive, 40 feet wide; thence in a northeasterly direction along the centerline of Normandy Avenue to the point of its intersection with the centerline of Hager Avenue; thence in a generally easterly direction along the centerline of Hager Avenue to the point of its intersection with the centerline of Bellerive Drive; thence in a northerly direction along the centerline of Bellerive Drive to the point of its intersection with the centerline of Emelie Avenue; thence in an easterly direction along 6 the centerline of Emelie Avenue to its intersection with the southward prolongation of the east line of Block 1 of the Country Club Addition of Normandy Park, as recorded in Plat Book 16 on Page 28 in the St. Louis County Recorder of Deeds Office; thence in a northerly direction along the east line of said Block 1 and said line projected northwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Natural Bridge Road; thence westwardly and northwestwardly along the centerline of Natural Bridge Road to its intersection with the western limits of the Village line of Bel Nor; thence southwestwardly along said western limits line of the Village of Bel Nor to its intersection with the south line of Chorman Avenue (40 feet wide); thence westwardly along the south line of said Chorman Avenue and said line produced westwardly to its intersection with the centerline of Carson Road (50 feet wide); thence southwardly along the centerline of Carson Road to the point of beginning;
