AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with J. E. Latta
Construction Co., Inc., for the construction of Section "D" of
sanitary trunk sewers of the Maline Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J. E. Latta Construction Co., Inc., as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of Section "D" of
sanitary trunk sewers of the Maline Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 17th day of June, 1959 and formally executed on
the 24th day of June, 1959 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 25, 1959. -2-
