AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive
Director to grant an easement in St. Louis County, Missouri, over
a parcel of land in Holiday Estate, a subdivision of St. Louis
County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded as Daily
No. 168, May 4, 1959, and to execute an easement upon the
conditions herein set out.
WHEREAS, by said recorded plat Lot "A" of said
subdivision was dedicated to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District for the installation and maintenance of sewers; and
WHEREAS, the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company wishes
to cross said Lot "A" with telephone and power lines; and
WHEREAS, the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company has
requested the District grant an easement across said tract, and
the District is willing so to do;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The District does hereby grant an easement
for telephone and power line purposes across the following
described real estate, situated in the County of St. Louis and
State of Missouri, to wit:
An easement across Lot A of Holiday Estate Subdivision Recorded as
Daily No. 168, May 4, 1959, as follows: Starting at a
point in the north property line of Lot A 50 feet east
of Crystal Road, thence in a southerly direction to a
point in the south property line along Tropic Drive 85
feet east of Crystal Road, said easement to be 10 feet
either side of described line, a total width of 20
feet.
Section Two. The Executive Director is hereby
authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the District an
easement giving effect to Section One hereof.
