AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with E. J. Fischer
for the construction of a subtrunk sanitary sewer of Subdistrict
No. One of the River des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac
Area) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District at the crossing
of Highway 40, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to E. J. Fischer, as the lowest responsible
bidder, for the construction of subtrunk sanitary sewer of
Subdistrict No. One of the River des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-
Frontenac Area) at the crossing of Highway 40, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 16th day of September, 1959 and
formally executed on the 21st day of September, 1959 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted Sept. 28, 1959.
