HomeMy Public PortalAbout00335 O R D I N A N C E NO. 335 AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metro- politan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities of the District. WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the sole owners of the land in said area; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is in a watershed within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area described as follows: A tract of land in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 29, Township 44 North Range 6 East and more particularly described as: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of Lindbergh Boulevard 100 feet wide, with the center line of Baptist Church Road 30 feet wide said point of intersection being also a point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence Northwestwardly, along the center line of Lindbergh Boulevard, 414.61 feet to a point, said center line being also a part of the existing boundary 2 line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence Southwardly, along a line parallel with the center line of Baptist Church Road to a point 300 feet South of the South line of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence Southeastwardly, along a line parallel with the South line of Lindbergh Boulevard 414.61 feet to a railroad spike in the center line of Baptist Church Road; thence Northwardly, along the center line of Baptist Church Road, said center line being also a part of the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to the point of beginning. Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation was signed by the sole owners of the land in said area. Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metro- politan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to include the above-described area. Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1959.
