HomeMy Public PortalAbout00359 O R D I N A N C E NO. 359 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation in the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Maintenance Department, Treatment Plant Division (Account No. 1-1064-300) for the purchase of land and the construction of a sewage treatment lagoon therein to be used in conjunction with the public Sugar Creek Sewage Treatment Plant. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to the Maintenance Department, Treatment Plant Division (Account No. 1-1064-300) for the purchase of a five-acre tract of unimproved land in St. Louis County situated West of and contiguous to the Sugar Creek Sewage Treatment Plant for Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) and for the construction of a sewage treatment lagoon therein at a cost estimated not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), such lagoon to be operated in conjunction with said Sugar Creek Plant. Section Two. This, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 7, 1960.
