HomeMy Public PortalAbout00363 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 28, 1960 O R D I N A N C E NO. 363 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 97 (Dorothy and McCartney) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 97 (Dorothy and McCartney). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 97 (Dorothy and McCartney) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 363 DOROTHY AND McCARTNEY Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Diamond Drive, 50' wide, with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 32 in Block 33 of Glasgow Village Subdivision, Unit No. Sixteen as recorded in Plat Book 76 on Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the centerline of Diamond Drive to the eastward prolongation of the north line of Lot 16 of Dulles 1st Addn. to Riverview Gardens as recorded in Plat Book 15 on Page 83 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of said Lot 16 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 15' west of the west line of Diamond Drive; thence southwardly along said parallel line to the south line of said Lot 16; thence westwardly along said south line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 30' west of the west line of Diamond Drive; thence southwardly along the last mentioned parallel line to the north line of Lot 14 in said Dulles 1st Addn. to Riverview Gardens; thence southwestwardly in a straight line across said Lot 14 to a point in the south line of said Lot 14, said point being 100' west of the west line of Diamond Drive; thence southwardly along a line parallel with and 100' west of the west line of said Diamond Drive, across Lots 13, 12, 11 and 10 to a point 25' south of the south line of Lot 10 in said Dulles 1st Addn. to Riverview Gardens; thence westwardly in a straight line 3 to a point in the west line of property now or formerly owned by Arthur F. Reckert as recorded in Deed Book 3980 on Page 530 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being 70' south of the south line of Whesthues Way, an alley 15' wide as shown on the plat of Sheldon Park Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 36 on Page 16 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Reckert property to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 10 in said Sheldon Park Subdivision; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said south line of Lot 10 to the southwest corner of said Lot 10; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 10 to the northeast corner of Lot 24 in Pelsters Subdivision Plat 3 as recorded in Plat Book 59 on Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 24 to the northwest corner of said Lot 24; thence westwardly across Lilac Avenue, 50' w|de, to the northeast corner of Lot 13 in Pelsters Subdivision Plat 2 as recorded in Plat Book 49 on Page 79 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 13 to a point 60' west of the west line of Lilac Ave.; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to the northwest corner of Lot 14 in said Pelsters Subdivision Plat 2; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 14 to the southwest corner of said Lot 14; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to a point in the north line of Lot 3 of Pelsters Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 49 on Page 58 of the St. Louis County 4 Records; said point being 45' east of the east line of McCartney Lane, 50' wide; thence southwardly along a line parallel with and 45' east of the east line of said McCartney Lane to the south line of Lot 3 in said Pelsters Subdivision; thence westwardly along said south line of Lot 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence southwestwardly in a straight line across said McCartney Lane to the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 1 of the Subdivision of Lot 25 of Coburg Lands as recorded in Plat Book 26 on Page 3 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 6 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 40' west of the west line of McCartney Lane; thence southwardly along said parallel line to the south line of property now or formerly owned by John C. and Sarah E. Dingman as recorded in Deed Book 1829 on Page 475 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to a point in the east line of property now or formerly owned by Phillip A. and Elsie M. Fey as recorded in Deed Book 1839 on Page 536 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being 65' south of the north line of said Fey property; thence westwardly along a line parallel with and 65' south of the north line of said Fey property to the west line of said Fey property; thence northwardly along said west line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 50' south of the north line of said property; thence westwardly along said parallel line to the west line of Lot 2 in Block 1 of said Subdivision of Lot 25 of Coburg Lands; thence southwardly along the west line of 5 said Lot 2 and its southern prolongation to the centerline of Chambers Road, 60' wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of Chambers Road a distance of 763.3 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the centerline of a Private Drive (Toelle Drive) across Lot 24 of Coburg Lands Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 13 on Page 71 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the centerline of said private Drive to its intersection with a line that is parallel with and 60' north of the south line of Coburg Ridge Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 38 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the east line of Lot 7 of said Coburg Ridge Subdivision; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to the intersection of the centerlines of Glorose Drive, 50' wide, and Dorothy Ave., 50; wide; thence northwardly along said centerline of Dorothy Ave. to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of property now or formerly owned by Joseph L. and Margaret M. Koviak as recorded in Deed Book 3265 on Pages 315 and 316 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Koviak property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 25' east of the east line of Dorothy Ave.; thence northwardly along said parallel line to the north line of said Koviak property; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to a point in the west line of Lot 5 of Coburg Ridge No. 2 Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 74 on Page 21 of the St. Louis County 6 Records, said point being 39' north of the southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 5 to the southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 5 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 30' west of the west line of McCartney Lane; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line to the northwest line of said Lot 5; thence southeastwardly along said northwest line and along the southeastern prolongation of said line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 45' south of the south line of Topaz Ave., 50' wide; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the west line of Lilac Ave.; thence northeastwardly in a straight line across Lilac Ave. to the northwest corner of Lot 24 in Block 33 of aforesaid Glasgow Village Subdivision Unit Sixteen; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 24 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 30' west of the west line of Gourock Drive, 50' wide; thence southwardly, southeastwardly and eastwardly along said parallel line and continuing along a line parallel with and 30' south of the south line of Kirkwall Drive, 50' wide, to its intersection with the west line of Lot 32 of said Block 33 of Unit Sixteen of Glasgow Village Subdivision; thence southeastwardly in a straight line tothe pointy of beginning;
