HomeMy Public PortalAbout00374 The following ordinance was adopted on March 3, 1960 O R D I N A N C E NO. 374 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 307, which established Subdistrict No. 21 (Lilac North), enacting a new ordinance on the same subject in lieu thereof, and repealing Resolution No. 255. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees established Subdistrict No. 21 (Lilac North) by adoption of Ordinance No. 307, July 22, 1959, and declared the necessity of a sewer improvement therein by adoption of Resolution No. 255 August 27, 1959, and WHEREAS, a revision of the boundaries of said sub- district is necessary, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 307, adopted July 22, 1959, and Resolution No. 255, adopted August 27, 1959, are hereby repealed. Section Two. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 21 (Lilac North). Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 21 (Lilac North) shall be as follows: 2 (SEE NEXT PAGE) Ord. No LILAC NORTH SUBDISTRICT Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of McCartney Lane, 50 ft. wide with the centerline of Chambers Road, 60 ft. wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of Chambers Road, 60 ft. wide to its intersection with the northward projection of the west line of property now or formerly of George and Margaret Van Deven as recorded in Deed Book 2570 on Page 310 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said projection and along said west line to the southwest corner of said Van Deven property; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Van Deven property to its intersection with the west line of property now or formerly of the Village of Riverview as recorded in Deed Book 3544 on Page 385 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said west line of said Village of Riverview property to the southwest corner of said property; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Village of Riverview property to its intersection with the west line of Lot 226 of Riverview Gardens Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 11 on Page 28 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the southwest corner of Lot 234 of said subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 234 and said line projected eastwardly to its intersection with the centerline 3 of Lilac Drive, 50 ft. wide; thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Northridge Drive, 50 ft. wide; thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the west boundary line of the East Riverview Gardens Sewer District; thence northwardly along the east Riverview Sewer District line to its intersection with the centerline of Chambers Road, 60 ft. wide; thence westward along the centerline of Chambers Road, 60 ft. wide, to its intersection with the southward projection of the east line of Sheldon Park, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 36 on Page 16 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northward along said projection and along the east line of Sheldon Park to a point 414.00 ft from the centerline of Chambers Road, 60 ft. wide, said point being 25 ft. north of the north line of Lot 32 of Sheldon Park; thence westward along a line parallel to and 25 ft. north of the north line of Lot 32 of Sheldon Park and said line projected to the centerline of Sheldon Drive, 50 ft. wide; thence northward along the centerline of Sheldon Drive, 50 ft. wide to its intersection with the eastward projection of the north line of Lot 8 of Sheldon Park; thence westward along said projection and along lot line to the west line of Sheldon Park; thence southward along the west line of Sheldon Park to a point between Lots 24 and 23 of Pelsters Subdivision Plat 3, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 59 Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westward along the line between Lots 24 and 23 of Pelsters Subdivision Plat 3 and said 4 line produced westwardly to the centerline of Lilac Drive 50 ft. wide; thence northward along the centerline of Lilac Drive, 50 ft. wide to its intersection with the eastward projection of the north line of Pelsters Subdivision Plat 2, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 49 Page 79 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westward along said projection and along said north line of Pelsters Subdivision Plat 2 to the north line of Pelsters Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 49 Page 58 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westward along the north line of Pelsters Subdivision and said line projected to the centerline of McCartney Lane, 50 ft. wide; thence southward along the centerline of McCartney Lane, 50 ft. wide to its intersection with the centerline of Chambers Road, being the point of beginning;
