AN ORDINANCE, repealing an appropriation and
transferring the sum of Five Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($535,000.00) from the surplus in the General Fund to the Real
Property Purchase Fund, with an emergency clause.
WHEREAS, a surplus of Five Hundred Twelve Thousand
Dollars ($512,000.00) exists in the General Fund of the District,
and
WHEREAS, an existing appropriation out of the General
Fund to the Personnel Department for Supplies and Materials,
Account No. 1-1021-200, in the sum of Twenty-three Thousand
Dollars ($23,000.00) is unencumbered and is not required for the
purpose of the appropriation, and the Executive Director desires
that such sum be re-appropriated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Said unencumbered appropriation in the
sum of Twenty-three Thousand Dollars ($23,000.00) to Personnel
Department, Supplies and Materials, Account No. 1-1021-200, is
hereby repealed and such sum shall revert immediately to the
General Fund of the District.
Section Two. The sum of Five Hundred Thirty-five
Thousand Dollars ($535,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
surplus in the General Fund to the Real Property Purchase Fund.

Section Three. The need of funds in the Real Property
Purchase Fund for the proposed purchase of realty constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan and this ordinance shall
therefore take effect immediately upon its enactment.
