AN ORDINANCE, appropriating the sum of Five Hundred
Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($562,000.00) out of the unexpended and
unencumbered balance of the Real Property Purchase Fund to Real
Property Purchases, Account No. 7-1042, for the purchase of an
improved tract of land known as 2000 Hampton Avenue in the City of
St. Louis for the use of the District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty-two
Thousand Dollars ($562,000.00) is hereby appropriated out of the
unexpended and unencumbered balance of the Real Property Purchase
Fund to Real Property Purchases, Account No. 7-1042, for
conclusion of the purchase by Warranty Deed for District use of an
improved tract of land of John Hancock Life Insurance Company,
consisting of 3.414 acres more or less, known as 2000 Hampton
Avenue in the City of St. Louis.
Section Two. This, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was passed on March 18, 1960.
