HomeMy Public PortalAbout00383 The following Ordinance was passed on March 31, 1960 O R D I N A N C E NO. 383 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 89 (Loretta- Joplin) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 89 (Loretta-Joplin). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 89 (Loretta-Joplin) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord.No. 383 LORETTA - JOPLIN SUBDISTRICT Beginning at the point of intersection of the east line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company right-of-way and the eastwardly prolongation of the north line of Lot 12 of Block 3 of the South Carondelet Suburb, as recorded in Plat Book 4 on Page 42 of the City of St. Louis Recorder's Office; thence westwardly along the eastwardly prolongation of the north line of said Lot 12 and along said north line to the northwest corner of said Lot 12; thence northwardly along the west line of Lots 11, 10 and 9 of said Block 3 to the northwest corner of Lot 9; thence westwardly along the north line and the westward prolongation thereof of Lot 6 of said Block 3 to the centerline of Perrin Street, 30 feet wide; thence southwardly along the centerline of Perrin Street to its intersection with the eastwardly prolongation of the south line of Lot 9 of Block 7 of South Carondelet Suburb; thence westwardly along the eastwardly prolongation of the south line of said Lot 9 and along said south line and the westwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of the north-south alley of said Block 7; thence northwardly along the centerline of the alley to the centerline of Arlee Street, 30 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Arlee Street to its intersection with the southwardly prolongation of the east line of Lot 35 of Shields Barrack's Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 5 on Page 41 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said 3 prolongation and along said east line of Lot 35 and the east line of Lot 18 of said subdivision and along the northwardly prolongation of the east line of said Lot 18 to the centerline of Felton Avenue, 25 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Felton Avenue to its intersection with a line one hundred eighty-one feet (181') east of and parallel to the west line of Lots 17 and 18 of Block 6 of South Carondelet Suburb; thence northwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line eighty feet (80') south of and parallel to the south line of Loretto Avenue, 25 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the said parallel line to the centerline of Perrin Street, 30 feet wide; thence northwardly along the centerline of Perrin Street to the north line of Loretto Avenue, 25 feet wide; thence westwardly along said north line of Loretto Avenue to a point ten feet (10') east of the west line of Lot 13 of Loretto Heights Amended Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 12 on Page 51 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly in a straight line to a point ten feet (10') north of the north line of Lot 7 of Block 6 of South Carondelet Suburb and fifty feet (50') west of the east line of said Lot 7; thence northwardly and parallel to the west line of L.
