AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Victory Construction
Co., Inc. for the construction of sub-trunk sanitary sewers in
Subdistrict No. One of the River des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-
Frontenac Area), with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive
Director to Victory Construction Co., Inc.,as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of sub-trunk sanitary
sewers in Subdistrict No. One of the River des Peres Watershed
(Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area) of THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER
DISTRICT, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of
May, 1960, and formally executed on the 9th day of May, 1960 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of a
contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed
being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 17, 1960
