AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with L. Kaye
Construction Co. for the alterations of District Headquarters
located 2000 Hampton Avenue, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to L. Kaye Construction Co., as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the alterations of District Headquarters
located 2000 Hampton Avenue, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 16th day of May, 1960 and formally executed on the 17th day
of May, 1960 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the following
form;

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for alterations of District Headquarters located
2000 Hampton Avenue which the District urgently needs to con-
solidate its operations, and because the District's present leases
on its offices are to terminate July 1, 1960, the alterations of
this building constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the
Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
