AN ORDINANCE, repealing Resolution No. 169, by which
Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 47 was created, and establishing a
subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as
Subdistrict No. 47 (Midland-Gilrose) of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District.
WHEREAS, Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 47 was created
by adoption of Resolution No. 169 for the purpose of constructing
lateral sanitary sewers in the area of Midland Heights in the City
of Vinita Park, St. Louis County, Missouri, and it has been
determined that said Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 47 will not
properly accomplish its purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OP TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Resolution No. 169, as adopted April 21,
1958, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the
District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 47 (Midland-Gilrose).
Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 47
(Midland-Gilrose) shall be as follows:

MIDLAND - GILROSE
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the east right-of-way line of the St. Louis Belt and Terminal
Railroad Company and the southerly line of the southerly strip of
Midland Boulevard, a public street with said southerly strip being
25 feet wide; thence southwardly along said east right-of-way line
to the south line of Block 9 of Midland Heights Subdivision, as
recorded in Plat Book 3 on Page 57 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence eastwardly along said south line of Block 9 and
continuing along the south line of Central Addition to Midland
Heights Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 5 on Page 79 of the
St. Louis County Records, to the southerly line of said 25 foot
wide southerly strip of Midland Boulevard; thence northwestwardly
along said southerly line of Midland Boulevard to the point of
beginning;
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 2, 1960
