HomeMy Public PortalAbout00426 O R D I N A N C E NO. 426 AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 29, as adopted July 18, 1955, and enacting a new Ordinance on the same subject in lieu thereof establishing a new subdistrict in the Coldwater Creek Watershed, to be known as the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and it appears to the Board that the establishment of such a subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate sewer service and to protect the public health, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has previously adopted Ordinance No. 29 establishing a subdistrict for construction of a trunk sewer system to serve the same area, but which area has been extended by annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 29, adopted July 18, 1955, is hereby repealed. Section Two. There is hereby established a subdistrict to be known as the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. Section Three. The boundaries of the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be as follows: 2 Beginning at a point on the South line of Lackland Avenue 400 feet east of the East line of Ashby Road which is a point on the boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and also a point on the southern boundary of the St. Johns- Overland Sanitary Sewer District; thence eastwardly along the South line of said Lackland Avenue to its intersection with the direct prolongation southwardly of the west line of Lot 8 of Midland View as per plat recorded in Plat Book 17, page 25 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along last mentioned prolongation and along the western line of said Lot 8 of Midland View to the northwest corner of said Lot 8; thence eastwardly along the southern line of Lots 29, 30 and 31 of said Midland View to the southeast corner of said Lot 31; thence northwardly along the eastern line of Lot 31 of Midland View and its direct prolongation northwardly to the southwest corner of Lot 68 of said Midland View; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 68 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 68; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 68 of Midland View and its direct prolongation northwardly to the northeast corner of Lot 77 of said Midland View; thence eastwardly along the northern line of Lots 76, 75, 74 and 73 of Midland View and its direct prolongation eastwardly to the eastern line of Lackland Avenue; thence along the eastern, southeastern, and southern line of said Lackland Avenue northwardly, northeastwardly and 3 eastwardly to its intersection with the west line of David Avenue, as shown on plat of Strieve 2nd Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 15, page 88 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said west line of David Avenue 160 feet to a point; thence leaving said west line and running in an easterly direction in a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 3 of Avalon Park, recorded in Plat Book 15, page 59 of the St. Louis County records; thence eastwardly along the southern line of said Lot 3 of Avalon Park to the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence northeastwardly across Wallis Avenue to the southwest corner of Lot 1 of Metz Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 12, page 137 St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 1 to the southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence eastwardly,in a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 3 of Frank S.
