An Ordinance vacating portions of sewer easements in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri,
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 47994, approved July 12,
1956, the City of St. Louis has abandoned the alleys, portions of
which are described herein, saving to the District easements over
such alleys; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Redevelopment Corporation of St.
Louis has requested this District to vacate portions of such
easements and has granted the District satisfactory substitute
easements; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Redevelopment Corporation of St.
Louis has constructed satisfactory substitute sewers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates its easements for sewer purposes in the strips of
ground described as follows:
The western 91.17 feet of the east-west alley in City
Block 508.
The east-west alley in City Block 507 extending from
Fifteenth Street to the former Sixteenth Street.
Those alleys in City Block 497, bounded by Pine Street,
former Sixteenth Street, Chestnut Street and Seventeenth Street.
The eastern 94 feet of the east-west alley in City
Block 498.
The foregoing Ordinance was passed on July 28, 1960.
