AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with E. J. Fischer
for the construction of trunk sanitary sewers in Special Benefit
Subdistrict No. 73 (Wheaton Bel-Nor Trunk), with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to E. J. Fischer, as the lowest responsible
bidder, for the construction of trunk sanitary sewers in Special
Benefit Subdistrict No. 73 (Wheaton Bel-Nor Trunk) of THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 13th day of July, 1960, and formally executed on
the 27th day of July, 1960 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:
Ord. No. 443
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 1, 1960. -2-
