HomeMy Public PortalAbout00445 O R D I N A N C E NO. 445 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation in the sum of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($13,905.49) out of the General Fund to the Maintenance Depart- ment, Sewer Division, Other Operating Expenses (Account No. 1- 1062-200) for work on a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 261 adopted February 12, 1959, the sum of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Nine Dollars and 74 cents ($3,909.74) was set apart out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to a balance sheet account styled Deposits for Reimbursable Maintenance Projects (Account No. 1-3024-B) for work on a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri, and a balance is now held in such account in the sum of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($3,905.49), and WHEREAS, it is estimated that said maintenance work can be completed at a cost not in excess of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($13,905.49), and the additional required sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is available for appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the General Fund the sum of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($13,905.49) to the Maintenance Department, Sewer Division, Other Operating Expenses (Account No. 1-1062-200), of which sum Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) are appropriated from unappropriated surplus and the remaining Three Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($3,905.49) are appropriated from Deposits for Reimbursable Maintenance Projects (Account No. 1-3024-B in the General Fund), to be used for work on a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. This being an appropriation ordinance, it shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on Sept. 1, 1960 -2-
