AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation in the sum of
Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents
($13,905.49) out of the General Fund to the Maintenance Depart-
ment, Sewer Division, Other Operating Expenses (Account No. 1-
1062-200) for work on a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis
County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 261 adopted February 12,
1959, the sum of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Nine Dollars and 74
cents ($3,909.74) was set apart out of the unappropriated surplus
of the General Fund to a balance sheet account styled Deposits for
Reimbursable Maintenance Projects (Account No. 1-3024-B) for work
on a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri, and a
balance is now held in such account in the sum of Three Thousand
Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($3,905.49), and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that said maintenance work can
be completed at a cost not in excess of Thirteen Thousand Nine
Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($13,905.49), and the additional
required sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is available for
appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the General Fund the sum of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred
Five Dollars and 49 cents ($13,905.49) to the Maintenance
Department, Sewer Division, Other Operating Expenses (Account No.
1-1062-200), of which sum Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) are
appropriated from unappropriated surplus and the remaining Three
Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 49 cents ($3,905.49) are
appropriated from Deposits for Reimbursable Maintenance Projects
(Account No. 1-3024-B in the General Fund), to be used for work on
a sewer in Hartnett Avenue, St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This being an appropriation ordinance, it
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
