AN ORDINANCE, receiving into the Construction Fund a
contribution in the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($1,500.00) and appropriating and setting apart the same sum out
of the Construction Fund, Account No. 4-1404, for the purpose of
constructing adequate sewers in Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des
Peres Watershed (North Affton Area).
WHEREAS, the Executive Director has accepted, subject
to confirmation by the Board of Trustees, a contribution of One
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) from Mr. Norman Risch,
the owner of a tract of land in Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des
Peres Watershed (North Affton Area), and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the sale of bonds for con-
struction of sewers in said Subdistrict the use of such tract of
land has been rezoned from single-family to multiple-family
dwellings, the owner proposes so to develop it, the cost of the
extra sewer capacity thereby required is not comprehended in the
proceeds of bonds sold to pay the cost of said Subdistrict sewers,
and the said contribution is estimated to be sufficient to make up
the deficiency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The aforesaid contribution in the sum of
One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) is hereby received
into the Construction Fund and the same sum is hereby appropriated
and set apart out of the Construction Fund, Account No. 4-1404,
for the purpose of constructing adequate sewers in Subdistrict No.
4 of the River des Peres Watershed (North Affton Area).
Section Two. This, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 7, 1960.
