HomeMy Public PortalAbout00457SECTION 2 AMENDED - SEE ORDINANCE NO. 627 The following Ordinance was adopted October 20, 1960 O R D I N A N C E NO. 457 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 104 (Beacon Hill North) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, Proposed Ordinance No. 83-60 to establish Subdistrict No. 104 (Beacon Hill) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District was introduced by the Board as a whole March 3, 1960 and a public hearing thereon was duly called and held, and WHEREAS, the Board, having been informed thereon, finds that a revision of the boundaries of said proposed subdistrict is advisable, and the Board as a whole has accordingly withdrawn said Proposed Ordinance No. 83-60 from further consideration, and desires that the revised boundaries be determined only after a public hearing, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 104 (Beacon Hill North). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 104 (Beacon Hill North) shall be as follows: 2 (SEE NEXT PAGE) Ord. No. 457 BEACON HILL NORTH Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Ladue Road and the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 2 in Beacon Hill Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 50 on Page 39 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of Lots 2, 4 and Lot "A" of said Beacon Hill Subdivision to the southeast corner of said Lot "A"; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot "A" and along the western prolongation of said south line to the northeast corner of property now or formerly owned by Robert L. and Dorothy J. Hartup as recorded in Deed Book 4117 on Page 433 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the east line of said Hartup property to the southeast corner of said property; thence westwardly along the south line of said Hartup property and continuing along the western prolongation of said south line to the west line of Beacon Hill Lane; thence southwardly, southwestwardly and westwardly along the west,northwest and north line of said Beacon Hill Lane to the northeast corner of Lot 17 in said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 17 to the west line of said Subdivision; thence southwardly along said west line 3 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 1,050 feet south of the south line of Ladue Road; thence westwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 610 feet west of the west line of said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence northwardly along said last mentioned parallel line and along the northern prolongation of said parallel line to the centerline of said Ladue Road; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Ladue Road to the point of beginning;
