AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Victory
Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of lateral sewers in
Subdistrict No. 106 (Lindbergh-Sunset Lateral) with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive
Director to Victory Construction Co., Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of lateral sanitary
sewers in Subdistrict No. 106 (Lindbergh-Sunset Lateral) of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 8th day of November, 1960, and formally executed
on the 10th day of November, 1960 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, in the following form:
Ord. No. 465
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 1960. -2-
