HomeMy Public PortalAbout00512AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1218 AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NOS. 1395 & 1411 O R D I N A N C E NO. 512 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Resolution No. 95, by which Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 22 was created, and establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 22 (Forest Drive Trunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 22 was created by adoption of Resolution No. 95 for the purpose of constructing lateral sanitary sewers in the area of Ramona Forest in the Cities of Berkeley and Ferguson, St. Louis County, Missouri, and it has been determined that said Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 22 will not properly accomplish its purpose, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Resolution No. 95, as adopted October 22, 1956, is hereby repealed. Section Two. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 22 (Forest Drive Trunk). Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 22 (Forest Drive Trunk) shall be as follows: 2 (SEE NEXT PAGE) FOREST DRIVE TRUNK Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of Lot 2 of Ramona Forest Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 19 on Page 12 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 2 to the northeast corner of said Lot 2; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 2 for a distance of 60.25 feet to a point; thence northwardly in a straight line to a point in the south line of Forest Drive, said point being 69.84 feet west of the northeast corner of Lot 3 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision as measured along said south line of Forest Drive; thence northwestwardly across said Forest Drive to a point on the north line of said Forest Drive, said point being 50 feet west of the southeast corner of Lot 32 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision as measured along said northern line of Forest Drive; thence northwardly in a straight line to a point on the northern line of said Lot 32, said point being 88.46 feet west of the northwest corner of said Lot 32, as measured along said north line; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 32 to the northeast corner of said lot; thence northwardly along the western line of Lots 26, 27 and 28 of Oakhurst First Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 22 on Page 24 of the St. Louis County Records to the northwest corner of said Lot 28; thence eastwardly 3 along the northern line of said Lot 28 and along the eastern prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Shady Drive; thence northwardly along said centerline of Shady Drive to its intersection with the western prolongation of the southern line of Lot 20 of the Second Resubdivision of part of Oakhurst First Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 61 on Page 39 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the southern line of said Lot to the southeast corner of said Lot 20; thence northwestwardly along the eastern line of Lots 20 to Lot 1 inclusive of said Second Resubdivision to the southern line of Forsee Drive; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3 of Bangert Place Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 24 on Page 41 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of Lots 1 through 9 in said Block 3 to the northeast corner of said Lot 9; thence northwardly along the east line of Lots 1 through 3 of Bangert Place Addition Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 48 on Page 42 of the St. Louis County Records to the northernmost corner of said Lot 3; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 52 of North Hills Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 19 on Page 42 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 52 to the northwest corner of said Lot 52; thence generally in an eastern direction along the northern line of Lots 52 through 60 of said North Hills Acres Subdivision to the northernmost corner of said Lot 60; 4 thence eastwardly in a straight line to the northwest corner of Lot 61 of said North Hills Acres Subdivision; thence generally in an eastwardly direction along the northern line of Lots 61, 62 and 63 of said subdivision to the northeast corner of said Lot 63; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 63 and continuing along the southern prolongation of said eastern line to the centerline of Wiegel Drive;thence westwardly along the centerline of Wiegel Drive to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the centerline of Hern Drive; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the centerline of said Hern Drive to the centerline of Forest Drive; thence westwardly and northwestwardly along said centerline of Forest Drive to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southeast line of Lot 17 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast lines of Lots 17 and 20 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision and continuing along the southwestern prolongation of said southeast line of said Lot 20 to the centerline of Forest Drive; thence southwardly and southwestwardly along said centerline of Forest Drive to its intersection with a line perpendicular to said centerline, said perpendicular line crossing the southeast line of Forest Drive 50 feet southwest of the southern line of Oak Drive as measured along said southeast line of Forest Drive; thence southeastwardly along said perpendicular line to its intersection with a line parallel 5 with and 150 feet southeast of the southeast line of said Forest Drive; thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to the east line of Lot 8 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 7 of said Ramona Forest Subdivision; thence westwardly along the southern line of Lots 7 and 4 of said Subdivision to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 23, 1961.
