HomeMy Public PortalAbout00518AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 968 O R D I N A N C E NO. 518 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 81 (Sappington Acres Estates) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 81 (Sappington Acres Estates). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 81 (Sappington Acres Estates) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 518 SAPPINGTON ACRES ESTATES Beginning at a point, said point being 110 feet south of the northeast corner of Section 29, Township 44 North, Range 6 East of the 5th principle meridian, and on the east line of said Section 29 in St. Louis County, Missouri; thence southwestwardly to a point, said point being 375 feet south of the north line and 312 feet west of the east line of said Section 29; thence westwardly on a line 375 feet south of and parallel to the north line of said Section 29 to a point 681 feet west of the east line of said Section 29; thence southwardly on a line parallel to and 681 feet west of the east line of said Section 29 to its intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard N 75o 46' W to its intersection with the southward projection of the west line of Sappington Acres Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 63 on Pages 4 and 5 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said projection and along said west line to its intersection with the south line of Lot 35 of Sappington Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 33 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line to the southeast corner of said Lot 35; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sappington Acres Subdivision to the northwest corner of property now or formerly of R. F. and A. C. Lee, Jr., as recorded in Deed Book 2385 on page 470 of the St. Louis County Records; thence 3 northeastwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of property now or formerly of Edwin A. and F. A. Roussan, as recorded in Deed Book 2685 on Page 631 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Roussan property and said line projected to its intersection with the south line of property now or formerly of Peter Bier, et al, as recorded in Deed Book 2923 on Page 70 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line of said Bier property a distance of 275 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 71 of Tara No. 4 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 81 on Page 14 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Tara No. 4, and along the south line of Tara No. 3, as recorded in Book 76 on Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records, to the original centerline of Baptist Church Road, (30 feet wide) thence S Oo 07' W along said centerline to a point on the westerly prolongation of the south line of Waldorf Terrace, Plat No. 3, as recorded in Book 73 on page 50 of the St. Louis County Records; thence N 89o 55' E 998.14' to the southeast corner of said Waldorf Terrace, Plat No. 3, said point also being the southwest corner of Archer Park, as recorded in Book 71 on Page 22 of the St. Louis County Records; thence easterly along the south line of Archer Park 67.01 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of Lot 73 of Tara No. 2, as recorded in Book 66 on Page 40 of the St. Louis County Records; 4 thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 73 to 92 of said Tara No. 2, 1173.46 feet, more or less, to the northeast corner of Lot 94 of said Tara No. 2; thence westerly along the north line of Lots 94 to 106 of said Tara No. 2, and continue west to the original centerline of Baptist Church Road, 30 feet wide; thence south along said centerline to the point of beginning; The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 23, 1961.
