HomeMy Public PortalAbout00528 O R D I N A N C E NO. 528 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 130 (North Hills Homesites Lateral) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 130 (North Hills Homesites Lateral). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 130 (North Hills Homesites Lateral) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 528 NORTH HILLS HOMESITES LATERAL Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Castro Drive, 40 feet wide, with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot 16, Block 1 of North Hills Homesites Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 19 on Page 43 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Castro Drive to its intersection with a line at right angles to said centerline, said line crossing the south line of Castro Drive, 250 feet west of the southwest corner of Lot 1 in Block 4 of said North Hills Homesites Subdivision, said 250 feet being measured along said south line of Castro Drive; thence southwardly along said line at right angles to said centerline to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet south of the south line of Castro Drive, said 150 feet being measured perpendicular to said south line of Castro Drive; thence eastwardly along said parallel line 250 feet to a point; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of said Lot 1 in Block 4; thence eastwardly along the southern line of said North Hills Homesites Subdivision to its intersection with a line parallel with and 50 feet east of the southern prolongation of the centerline of Loganda Avenue, 40 feet wide, said 50 feet being measured perpendicular to said southern prolongation; thence northwardly along said parallel line to the centerline of said Castro Drive; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Castro 3 Drive to the centerline of Tilford Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence northwardly along said centerline of Tilford Avenue to its intersection with a line parallel with and 100 feet north of the eastern prolongation of the north line of said Castro Drive, said 100 feet being measured perpendicular to said eastern prolongation; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet east of the east line of said Tilford Avenue, said 150 feet being measured perpendicular to said east line; thence northwardly along the last mentioned parallel line and continuing along the northern prolongation of said parallel line to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of a line parallel with and 150 feet north of the north line of Woodstock Road, 30 feet wide, said 150 feet being measured perpendicular to said north line; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 650 feet east of the east line of Block 14 of said North Hills Homesites Subdivision, said 650 feet being measured perpendicular to said east line; thence southwardly along the last mentioned parallel line to the centerline of said Woodstock Road; thence westwardly along said centerline of Woodstock Road to its intersection with a line parallel with and 350 feet east of the east line of said Block 14, said 350 feet being measured perpendicular to said east line; thence northwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet north of the north line of 4 said Woodstock Road, said 150 feet being measured perpendicular to said north line; thence westwardly along the last mentioned parallel line to the east line of said Block 14 of said Subdivision; thence northwardly along said eastern line of Block 14 and the northwardly prolongation thereof to the northeastern corner of Lot 27, Block 18, of said subdivision; thence westwardly, northwardly and westwardly along the northern line of Lots 27 through 19, Block 18 of said subdivision to the northwestern corner of Lot 19 thereof; thence southwardly along the western line of Lot 19 and the southwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Rowles Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Rowles Avenue to the northwardly prolongation of the western line of Lot 24, Block 15 of said subdivision; thence along the said prolonged line and the western line of Lots 24 through 44 of Block 15 of said subdivision to the southwestern corner of Lot 44 said corner also being the northeastern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to Edward R. and Frances E. Mackle, as recorded in Deed Book 2614 on Page 591, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence westwardly along the northern line of said tract to its northwestern corner; thence southwardly along the western line the southwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Woodstock Road, 50 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of Woodstock Road to the northwardly prolongation of the western line of Lot 8, Block 12 of said subdivision; thence southwardly along said prolongation 5 and along the western line of said Lot 8 to the southwestern corner thereof, said corner also being the northeastern corner of Lot 12, Block 12 of said subdivision; thence westwardly along the northern line of Lots 12 through 18, Block 12 of said subdivision to the northwestern corner of Lot 18; thence southwardly along the western line of said Lot 18 to the northeastern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to Lester G. and Adele M. Turner, as recorded in Deed Book 3220 on Page 615, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence westwardly along the northern line of said tract to the southwestern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to Elwin J. Sevier, Jr., as recorded in Deed Book 3303 on Page 292, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence southwardly along a straight line to the northwestern corner of Lot 11, Block 2 of the aforesaid North Hills Homesites Subdivision; thence southwardly along the western line of Lot 11 through 19 of Block 2 of said subdivision to the southwestern corner of Lot 19; thence southwardly along a straight line across Blanding Drive (formerly Berkley Drive), 60 feet wide, to the northwestern corner of Lot 9, Block 1 of said subdivision; thence continuing southwardly along the western lines of Lots 9 through 16, Block 1 of said subdivision and along the southern prolongation of said west line of Lot 16 to the point of beginning. 6 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 6, 1961.
