HomeMy Public PortalAbout00538 O R D I N A N C E NO. 538 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 134 (Baron and Chambers) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 134 (Baron and Chambers). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 134 (Baron and Chambers) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 538 BARON AND CHAMBERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Beginning at the southwestern corner of Lot 1 in Block 73 of Castle Point Unit No. 3, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 29, Page 11 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence northwardly along the western lines of Lot 1, 2 and 3 of said Block 73 to the northwestern corner of said Lot 3; thence eastwardly along the northern line of Lot 3 and its prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of Viscount Drive, 50 feet wide; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Viscount Drive to its intersection with the prolongation eastwardly of the southern line of Lot 6 in said Block 73; thence westwardly along the prolongation eastwardly of and the southern line of said Lot 6 to the southwestern corner of Lot 6; thence northwardly along the western line of Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Block 73 and the prolongation northwardly of the western line of Lot 9 to the centerline of King Drive, 50 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said King Drive to its intersection with the prolongation southwardly of the western line of Lot 1 in Block 71 of said Castle Point Unit No. 3; thence northwardly along the prolongation southwardly of and the western line of Lot 1 and Lot 2 of said Block 71 to the northwestern corner of Lot 2; thence 3 eastwardly along the northern line of Lot 2 in Block 71 and its prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of Monarch Drive, 50 feet wide; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Monarch Drive to its intersection with the prolongation westwardly of the northern line of Lot 3 in Block 68 of said Castle Point Unit No. 3; thence eastwardly along the pro- longation westwardly of and the northern line of Lot 3 in Block 68 to the northeastern corner of said Lot 3; thence northwardly along the western line of Lots 7, 8 and 9 in Block 68 and the prolongation northwardly of the western line of said Lot 9 to the centerline of Empress Drive, 50 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Empress Drive to its intersection with the prolongation southwardly of the western line of Lot 1 in Block 58 of said Castle Point Unit No. 3; thence northwardly along the prolongation southwardly of the western line of Lot 1 in Block 58, the western line of said Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 58 to the northwestern corner of Lot 3 in Block 58; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 3 to the western line of Count Drive, 50 feet wide; thence eastwardly in a straight line across Count Drive to the northwestern corner of Lot 31 in Block 55 of said Castle Point Unit No. 3; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 31 to its northeastern corner; thence northwardly along the western lines of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of said Block 55 to the northwestern corner of said Lot 13; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said Lot 13 and its 4 prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of Lord Drive, 50 feet wide; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Lord Drive to its intersection with the prolongation westwardly of the northern line of Lot 18 in Block 46 of Castle Point Unit No. 2, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 28, Page 8 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence eastwardly along the prolongation westwardly of and the northern line of Lot 18 in said Block 46 to the northeastern corner of said Lot 18; thence northwardly along the western lines of Lots 12, 13 and 14 in Block 46 and the prolongation northwardly of the western line of said Lot 14 to the centerline of Princess Drive, 50 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Princess Drive to its intersection with the prolongation northwardly of the eastern line of Lot 15 in Block 34 of said Castle Point Unit No. 2; thence southwardly along the prolongation northwardly of the eastern line of Lot 15, the eastern lines of Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in Block 34 and the prolongation southwardly of the eastern line of said Lot 28 to the centerline of Empress Drive, 50 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Empress Drive to its intersection with the prolongation northwardly of the eastern line of Lot 11 in Block 44 of said Castle Point Unit No. 2; thence southwardly along the prolongation northwardly of the eastern line of Lot 11 in Block 44, the eastern lines of Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17. 18, 19 and 20 in said Block 44, and continuing along the eastern line of 5 Lot 10 in Block 25 of Castle Point, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 27, Page 34 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office, and the prolongation southwardly of the eastern line of Lot 10 in said Block 25 to the centerline of an alley, 20 feet wide; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said alley to the prolongation northwardly to the eastern line of Lot 7 in said Block 25; thence southwardly along the prolongation of and the eastern line of said Lot 7 to the northern line of Chambers Road (formerly Walker Drive), 80 feet wide; thence southwardly in a straight line across Chambers Road to the northeastern corner of Lot 7 in Block 24 of Castle Point; thence southwardly along the eastern line of Lot 7 in Block 24 and its prolongation southwardly to the centerline of an alley, 20 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of said alley to its intersection with the prolongation northwardly of the eastern line of Lot 11 in said Block 24; thence southwardly along the prolongation northwardly of and the eastern line of said Lot 11 in Block 24 and the prolongation southwardly of said eastern line of Lot 11 to the centerline of Gardner Drive (formerly Chambers Road) as originally established, 40 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of Gardner Drive (formerly Chambers Road) to the centerline of Chambers Road, (formerly Walker Drive); thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Chambers Road to its intersection with the centerline of Viscount Drive, 50 feet wide; thence northwestwardly and northwardly along the centerline of 6 said Viscount Drive to its intersection with the prolongation eastwardly of the southern line of Lot 1 in Block 73 of said Castle Point Unit No. 3; thence westwardly along the prolongation eastwardly of and the southern line of said Lot 1 to its southwestern corner and the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 4, 1961.
