AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County
which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage
facilities to be built by the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is entirely in a
watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers to be built within
the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities to be built by the District can efficiently
serve the area described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, which point is the
intersection of the centerline of Patterson Road and the
centerline of New Halls Ferry Road; thence northwestwardly along
the centerline of New Halls Ferry Road to its intersection with
the northwestern line of Vaile Avenue; thence northeastwardly
along the said northwestern line of Vaile Avenue to its inter-
section with the west line of U. S. Survey 105; thence
northeastwardly along said west line of U. S. Survey 105 to its
intersection with a northeasterly boundary of Drainage District 2-

A; thence southeastwardly along the said boundary of Drainage
District 2-A to its intersection with the centerline of Vaile
Avenue; thence eastwardly and northeastwardly along the said
centerline of Vaile Avenue to its intersection with the centerline
of Old Halls Ferry Road; thence southeastwardly, along said
centerline of Old Halls Ferry Road, to its intersection with the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, which intersection is a point
on the boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as
extended by Ordinance No. 418, adopted June 16, 1960; thence
southwestwardly along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard,
which is also a part of the boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District as extended by Ordinance No. 418, to its inter-
section with the centerline of New Halls Ferry Road; thence
northwestwardly along the said centerline of New Halls Ferry Road,
which is also a part of the existing boundary of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of the land in said area
who own more than one-half of the land area of the area to be
served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
