HomeMy Public PortalAbout00553AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1045 O R D I N A N C E NO. 553 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 139 (Olive Crest) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 139 (Olive Crest). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 139 (Olive Crest) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 553 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO O R D I N A N C E NO. 553 Section Two of Proposed Ordinance No. 106-61 is hereby amended to eliminate the following described areas of land from Subdistrict No. 139 (Olive Crest) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such area proposed to be included in such Subdistrict is beyond the area capable of being efficiently served by the sewer or drainage facilities proposed to be constructed in such Subdistrict, to wit: Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of Mission Hills Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 59 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Mission Hills Subdivision to its intersection with a line parallel with and 145 feet east of the centerline of Spoede Road, said 145 feet being measured at right angles to said centerline; thence southwardly along said parallel line to the north line of Spoede Hills Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 54 on Page 26 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said north line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 220 feet east of the centerline of Spoede Road, said 220 feet being measured perpendicular to said centerline; thence 3 northwardly along said parallel line to the south line of property now or formerly owned by Paul J. and Agnes Deschamps, as recorded in Deed Book 2847 on Page 160 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Deschamps property to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Mission Hills Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation to the point of beginning. Section Two of Proposed Ordinance No. 106-61 as amended shall read as follows: Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 139 (Olive Crest) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 4 Ord. No. 553 OLIVE CREST Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Olive Street Road with the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 1 in Sona Lane Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 77 on Page 15 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of Lots 1, 2 and 3 of said subdivision to the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 3 to the northeast corner of Lot 4 of said Sona Lane Subdivision; thence southwardly along the east line of Lots 4 thru 9 of said subdivision and along the southern prolongation of said east line of Lot 9 to the centerline of The Lane, 15 feet wide; thence westwardly along the centerline of said The Lane to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of property now or formerly owned by Alan T. and Mary R. Smith, as recorded in Deed Book 2816 on Page 264 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation, the west line of said Smith property and the southern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Colonial Hills Parkway; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Colonial Hills Parkway to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of a 50 foot wide road right-of-way, as shown on the plat of Colonial Hills Estates Plat 1, as recorded in Plat Book 77 on Page 16 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said 5 prolongation to the north line of said Colonial Hills Estates Plat 1 Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the eastern prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Spoede Road; thence southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Spoede Hills Subdivision,as recorded in Plat Book 54 on Page 26 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation to the southwest corner of Lot 21 in said Spoede Hills Subdivision; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 21 and continuing along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Spoede Hills Drive; thence westwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Lot 3 in said Spoede Hills Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 3 to the north line of said Spoede Hills Subdivision; thence westwardly along said north line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 145 feet east of the centerline of Spoede Road, said 145 feet being measured perpendicular to said centerline; thence northwardly along said parallel line to the south line of Mission Hills Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 59 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line to the southeast corner of said Mission Hills Subdivision; thence northwardly along the east line of said subdivision to the northeast corner thereof, said point also being the southeast corner of Lot 12 in Ramblewood Subdivision, as 6 recorded in Plat Book 59 on Page 58 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Ramblewood Subdivision to the northeast corner thereof; thence northwestwardly in a straight line to the intersection of the south line of New Olive Street Road with the east line of Spoede Road; thence northwestwardly in a straight line to the point of intersection of the centerline of said New Olive Street Road with the centerline of Spoede Road; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Olive Street Road to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 18, 1961.
