HomeMy Public PortalAbout00558 O R D I N A N C E NO. 558 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 144 (Berkeley Garden Homesites) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 144 (Berkeley Garden Homesites). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 144 (Berkeley Garden Homesites) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 558 BERKELEY GARDENS HOMESITES Beginning at a point, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 15 in Block 11 of Berkeley Gardens Homesites Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 18 on Page 44 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of Lots 15 thru 26 in said Block 11 to the southeast corner of said Lot 26; thence eastwardly along a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 33 in Block 6 of said Berkeley Gardens Homesites Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 33 to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of We Avenue; thence southwardly along said prolongation to the north line of Lindbergh Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 31 on Page 22 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lindbergh Acres Sub- division and along the eastern prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Adie Road: thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the western prolongation of the north line of St. Ann Hills Plat No. 4 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 62 on Pages 16 and 17 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along said north line of St. Ann Hills Plat No. 4 Subdivision to the northeast corner of said subdivision; thence northwardly along the eastern line of Rock Road Terrace Subdivision, as 3 recorded in Plat Book 16 on Page 29 of the St. Louis County Records, to the northeast corner of Lot 70 in Block 8 of Rock Road Terrace Amended Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 18 on Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 70 to the northwest corner thereof; thence westwardly in a straight line to the point of intersection of the centerline of Lee Lane with the centerline of Long Drive; thence westwardly along said centerline of Lee Lane to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Lot 20 in Block 14 of said Rock Road Terrace Amended Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of Lots 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13 in said Block 14 to the northeast corner of said Lot 13; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 13 and the western prolongation of said north line to the east line of Lot 12 in Block 13 of said Rock Road Terrace Amended Subdivision; thence northwardly along the east line of Lots 12 thru 1 in said Block 13 to the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 20 in Block 10 of said Rock Road Terrace Amended Subdivision; thence northwardly along the east line of Lot 20 thru 1 in said Block 10 and along the northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Gayle Avenue; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Gayle Avenue and the western prolongation of said centerline to 4 the west line of Adie Road; thence southwestwardly along a line parallel with the northern line of Lot 1 of Coral Gardens Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 56 on Page 65 of the St. Louis County Records, to said parallel line's intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of said Coral Gardens Subdivision: thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said Coral Gardens Subdivision to its intersection with a line parallel with and 170 feet north of the centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road, said 170 feet being measured perpendicular to said centerline; thence westwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line perpendicular to said centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road at said centerline's intersection with the centerline of Orchard Avenue; thence southwardly along said perpendicular line to the point of intersection of the centerlines of Old St. Charles Rock Road and Orchard Avenue; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Orchard Avenue to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 1 in Block 9 of said Berkeley Gardens Homesites; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of Lots 1 thru 10 in said Block 9 to the northwest line of said Berkeley Gardens Homesites; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said subdivision to the point of beginning. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 18, 1961.
