AN ORDINANCE transferring the sum of Fourteen Thousand
Dollars ($14,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of the
General Fund to the Construction Fund for Subdistrict No. One of
the River des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area) as a
loan for sewer construction purposes to be repaid from the
proceeds of taxes levied in Section Six of Ordinance No. 534 with
an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fourteen Thousand Dollars
($14,000.00) is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
unappropriated surplus of the General Fund (Account No. 1-3441)
and ordered to be transferred to the unappropriated balance in
the Construction Fund for Subdistrict No. One of the River des
Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac) as a loan for sewer
construction purposes to be repaid from the proceeds of taxes
levied in Section Six of Ordinance No. 534, as adopted April 20,
1961.
Section Two. The need of funds by the Construction Fund
for said Subdistrict for appropriation for the construction of
sewers, which are necessary to protect the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
ordinance shall accordingly take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 1, 1961.
