AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Karsten Plumbing
Company, for the construction of Pump Station and Discharge Line
in the Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Karsten Plumbing Company, as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of Pump Station and
Discharge Line in the Creve Coeur Frontenac Area of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 5th day of May, 1961, and formally executed on
the 16th day of May, 1961 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in
the following form:
Ord. No. 566
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation of a
contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed
being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 1, 1961.
