AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owner of the land in said area who owns all of the land area
therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is primarily in a
watershed within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and
can drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Mullanphy
Road, forty (40) feet wide, where said centerline intersects with
the southeast line of property conveyed to A. B. Lambert, Jr., by
deed recorded in Book 2283, Page 37 of the St. Louis County
Records, said point of beginning also being a point on the
existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District;
thence North 37 degrees 26 minutes East 1,032.85 feet to the
eastern most corner of said Lambert property, which is also a part
of the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis
District; thence North 52 degrees 49 minutes West 597 feet to a
point, which is also a part of the existing boundary line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence South 37 degrees 26
minutes West 1,030.25 feet to a point in the centerline of
Mullanphy Road forty (40) feet wide; thence southeastwardly along
the centerline of Mullanphy Road forty (40) feet wide, South 52
degrees 34 minutes East 597 feet, to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the owner of the land in said area who owns all of
the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 29, 1961.
