HomeMy Public PortalAbout00587REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 634 O R D I N A N C E NO. 587 AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities of the District. WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the owner of the land in said area who owns all of the land area therein; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is almost entirely in a watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the east line of Geyer Road, forty (40) feet wide, with the north line of Windsor Spring Lane, fifty (50) feet wide, said point of beginning also being a point on the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence southwardly along the east line of Geyer Road, forty (40) feet wide, a distance of 180.0 feet to a point; thence eastwardly at right angles a distance of 840.0 feet to a point; thence northwardly at right angles a distance of 180.0 feet to a point; thence westwardly at right angles a distance of 840.0 feet, which is also a part of the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 29, 1961.
