HomeMy Public PortalAbout00592 O R D I N A N C E NO. 592 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 592 SUGAR CREEK Beginning at a point, said point being the northwest corner of Lot 7 in Block 4 of Montauk Hills Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 36 on Page 57 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Montauk Hills and its easterly prolongation to its intersection with the centerline of Couch Avenue; thence northwardly along the centerline of Couch Avenue to its intersection with the southerly line of Craig Drive; thence northeastwardly along the southerly line of Craig Drive to its intersection with the westerly line of Becker Place (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 35, Page 83 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office); thence southwardly along the westerly line of Becker Place to the southwesterly corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the southerly line of Becker Place to the southeasterly corner thereof; said point also being on the west line of Huntwood Lane Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 64 on Page 27 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said west line to the northwest corner of said subdivision; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Huntwood Lane Subdivision and continuing along the north line of Chippendale Court Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 91 on Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records, to the east line of said Chippendale Court Subdivision; thence southwardly along said east line of Chippendale Court Subdivision to the northerly line of 3 Rose Hill Avenue; thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Rose Hill Avenue to the southwesterly corner of Lot 13 of McLain Tract (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 33, Page 11 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office); thence northwardly along the westerly line of said Lot 13 to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Lots 13 to 9 inclusive to the south-westerly corner of Lot 20 of the McLain Tract; thence northwardly along the westerly line of Lot 20 and across McLain Lane and along the westerly line of Lot 27 to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the northerly line of the McLain Tract to the westerly line of Geyer Road; thence northwardly along the westerly line of Geyer Road to its intersection with the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lee Avenue; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along said northerly line to the southwesterly corner of Lot 5 of Green Lea Subdivision (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 20, Page 71 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office); thence northwardly along the westerly line of said Lot 5 to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Green Lea Subdivision to its intersection with the westerly line of Amended Plat of Rollof Subdivision No. 2 (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 35, Page 28 of the St. Louis County Recorder:s Office); thence northwardly along a line two hundred (200) feet westerly from and parallel to the west line of Clay Avenue to the southerly line of Woodbine Avenue; thence in a straight line across Woodbine Avenue to the southeasterly corner of Lot 1 of Hillcrest Subdivision (a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 76 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office); thence westwardly along said parallel line and along the western prolongation of said parallel line to the centerline of Lockett Road; thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lindgate Manor Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 95 on Page 98 and 99 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly, southwardly and westwardly along said prolongation and the south, east and southernmost lines of said Lindgate Manor Subdivision and along the western prolongation of said southernmost Line to the centerline of Lindeman Road; thence southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of 10 the south line of Apple Valley Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 98 on Page 19 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said subdivision to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the west line of said Apple Valley Subdivision to the northwest corner thereof, said point being a point on the Corporate City Limits of the City of Kirkwood; thence westwardly along said City Limits line to the east line of Ballas Road; thence westwardly along a straight line to the southeast corner of Winslow Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 54 on Page 21 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said subdivision to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the west line of said Winslow Subdivision and along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Manchester Road; thence westwardly along said centerline of Manchester Road to its intersection with a line parallel with and five hundred (500) feet west of the west line of Des Peres Road, said five hundred (500) feet being measured at right angles to said west line; thence southwardly along said parallel line to the centerline of Dougherty Ferry Road; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Dougherty Ferry Road to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the westernmost City Limits line of Kirkwood; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along said City Limits line to the south line of the right-of-way of the Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence 11 westwardly along said south line to the centerline of Barrett Station Road;
