AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities to be built by the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is almost entirely in a
watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers to be built within
the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities to be built by the District can efficiently serve the
area described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of
Country Life Acres Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book
21 on page 16 of the St. Louis County Records, said
point also being a point on the existing boundary line
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
westwardly along the southern line of said Country Life
Acres Subdivision to the southwest corner thereof;
thence northwardly along the west line of said

subdivision to the southwest corner of lot 18 in said
Country Life Acres Subdivision; thence eastwardly along
the south line of said lot 18 to the southeast corner
thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said
lot 18 to the north line of said Country Life Acres
Subdivision; thence eastwardly along said north line to
the northeast corner of said subdivision, said point
also being a point on the existing boundary line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
southwardly along the east line of said Country Life
Acres Subdivision, which is also a part of the existing
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of the land in said area
who own more than one-half of the land area of the area to be
served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
