AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Latta Bridge
Co., Inc., and J. E. Latta Construction Co., Inc., jointly, for
the construction of Section II of the sanitary trunk sewer of
Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District in the Gravois Creek Watershed, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Latta Bridge Co., Inc. and J. E. Latta
Construction Co., Inc., jointly, as the lowest responsible bidder,
for the construction of Section II of the sanitary trunk sewer of
Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District in the Gravois Creek Watershed, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 16th day of August, 1961, and formally
executed on the 22nd day of August, 1961 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 31, 1961.
