AN ORDINANCE vacating an easement and a portion of an
easement in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested the City of St. Louis to vacate Berthold Avenue from the
west line of Macklind Avenue to and beyond the west line of
Sublette Avenue, and Sublette Avenue from the south line of
Berthold Avenue to the north line of Wise Avenue and the City has,
by Ordinance No. 49202, approved December 23, 1958, vacated such
streets, reserving, however, the area of such streets for sewer
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the said owner of subject property has
requested this District to vacate portions of such easements and
has given this District satisfactory substitute easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described easement and
portion of sewer easement are hereby vacated, to wit:
That sewer easement over that portion of former
Sublette Avenue lying between the south line of former Berthold
Avenue and the north line of Wise Avenue, and that portion of
sewer easement over the south thirty (30) feet of former Berthold
Avenue between the west line of Macklind Avenue and the west line
of former Sublette Avenue, and over the north thirty (30) feet of
former Berthold Avenue from the west line of Macklind Avenue
westwardly to a point 283.08 feet west of said west line of
Macklind Avenue, measured along the centerline of said former
Berthold Avenue. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 31, 1961.
