HomeMy Public PortalAbout00621 O R D I N A N C E NO. 621 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 155 (Cady and Reasor) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 155. (Cady and Reasor). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 155 (Cady and Reasor) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 621 CADY AND REASOR Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of Lot 8 in block 34 of Burke City Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 21 on pages 8 and 9 of the St. Louis County Records: thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 8 to the northeast corner of said Lot 8; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 63 through 57 of said Block 34 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 57; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 57 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 57; thence westwardly in a straight line across Young Drive, 40 feet wide, to the southernmost corner of Lot 17 of Block 31 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the south- west line of said Lot 17 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 17; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 62 through 54 of said Block 31 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 54; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 54 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 54; thence westwardly in a straight line across Bascom Drive to the southernmost corner of Lot 86 of Block 29 of said subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 86 to the westernmost corner of sa|d Lot 86; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 14 and 15 of said Block 29 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 15; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said 3 Lot 15 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 15; thence westwardly in a straight line across Elbring Drive to the southernmost corner of Lot 83 of Block 26 of said subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 83 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 83; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 17 through 47 of said Block 26 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 52; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 52 to the southernmost corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along a straight line to the westernmost corner of Lot 47 in Block 29 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 47 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 47; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 48 and 49 in said Block 29 and along the southwestern prolongation of said southeast line to the centerline of Sadonia Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence southeastwardly along said centerline to the centerline of Bascomb Drive, 40 feet wide; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Bascomb Drive to its intersection with the northwestern prolongation of the northeast line of Lot 27 in Block 32 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along said northeast line of Lot 27 to the easternmost corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 27 through 38 in said Block 32 to the northeast line of Lot 47 in said Block 32; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of 4 Lots 47 through 53 in said Block 32 and along the southeastern prolongation of said northeast line to the centerline of Young Drive, 40 feet wide; thence southwestwardly along said centerline of Young Drive to the centerline of Reasor Drive, 40 feet wide; thence northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southeast line of Lot 94 in Block 40 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of said Lot 94 to the southwest line of said Block 40; thence southeastwardly along said southwest line of Block 40 to the southeast corner of Lot 8 in said Block 40; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 8 to the south line of Reasor Drive; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southernmost corner of Lot 14 in Block 39 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of Lots 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9 and 8 in said Block 39 to the western-most corner of said Lot 8; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Lot 8 to the western line of New Floris- sant Road: thence northwardly along said western line of New Florissant Road to the centerline of Cady Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence westwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot 7 in Block 35 of said Burke City Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of Lots 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 in said Block 35 to the northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence 5 northwardly in a straight line across Grether Avenue to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1961.
