HomeMy Public PortalAbout00622 O R D I N A N C E NO. 622 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 158 (Brinwood) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 158 (Brinwood). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 158 (Brinwood) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 BRINWOOD Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Humes Lane with the centerline of Patterson Road; thence southwardly along said centerline of Patterson Road to the centerline of Mullanphy Lane; thence southeastwardly along said centerline of Mullanphy Lane and along the southeastern prolongation of said centerline to the centerline of Drainage District No 2A Right-of-Way (Coldwater Creek), 100 feet wide; thence; southwardly along the centerline of said Coldwater Creek Right-of-Way to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of Loretto Manor No. 3 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 91 on Page 41 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation to the west line of the Union Electric Company Right- of-Way (100 feet wide); thence southwardly along said west Right- of-Way line to the centerline of Missouri State Highway 140 (Lindbergh Boulevard); thence westwardly along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection with a line parallel with and 130 feet northeast of the centerline of Lindsay Lane; thence northwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the northwest line of Shamrock Acres No. 2 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 82 on Page 21 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation to the northeast line of Lindsay Lane (50 feet wide); thence northwestwardly along said northeast line of Lindsay lane to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeasternmost line of Mercury Meadows Subdivision, as recorded 3 in Plat Book 71 on page 31 of the St. Louis County records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southeasternmost line of said subdivision to the southwest line of Florissant Park Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 68 on Pages 6 and 7 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Florissant Park Subdivision to the westernmost corner thereof, said point also being the southernmost corner of Mercury Meadows No. 2 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 83 on Page 47 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Mercury Meadows No. 2 Subdivision to the westernmost corner thereof, said point also being the southernmost corner of Mercury Meadows No. 2 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 83 on page 47 of the St. louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Mercury Meadows No. 2 Subdivision to the westernmost cornerthereof, said point also being the southernmost corner of Brinwood Second Addition Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 85 on Page 42 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Brinwood Second Addition subdivision to the easternmost corner of Lot 11 in Lindsay-Hurst Re-Subdivision of Lot 7 of Lindsay-Hurst Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 41 on Page 25 of the St. Louis County Rccords; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Lot 11 to the southernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 11 to the westernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly in a straight line across Charlotte Drive to the southernmost corner of Lot 12 4 in said Lindsay-Hurst Re-Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 12 to the northwest line of said Lindsay-Hurst Re-Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said northwest line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet northeast of the centerline of Lindsay Lane (50 feet wide); thence north- westwardly along said parallel line to the southeast line of Lindsay Manor Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 72 on Page 27 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said southeast line to the northeast line of said Lindsay Lane; thence northwestwardly along said northeast line of Lindsay Lane to the westernmost corner of said Lindsay Manor Subdivision; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said subdivision to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet northeast of the centerline of said Lindsay Lane; thence northwestwardly along said parallel line to the southeast line of Block 1 in Francisca Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 77 on Page 18 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said southeast line of Francisca Subdivision and along the southwestern prolongation of said southeast line to the centerline of said Lindsay Lane; thence northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southeast line of Lot 9 in Block 6 of Florisota Plat No. 2 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 65 on Page 44 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of Lots 9 and 10 in said Block 6 and along the southwestern prolongation of said southeast line to the centerline 5 of Monterey Drive (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southeast line of Lot 22 in Block 8 of said Florisota Plat No. 2 Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of Lots 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16 & 15 in said Block 8 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 15; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 15 and along the northwestern prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of Eldorado Drive (50 feet wide); thence north- eastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of Lot 13 in Block 9 of said Florisota Plat No. 2 Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest line of said Lot 13 to the southeast line of Bobbinray Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 84 on Page 27 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said southeast line of Bobbinray Subdivision to the southernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said subdivision to the southernmost corner of Lot 1 in Block 2 of said Bobbinray Subdivision; thence northeastwardly along the southeast line of said Lot 1 and along the northeast prolongation of said southeast line to the centerline of Naomi Avenue (50 feet wide); thence northwestwardly along said centerline to the centerline of Paul Avenue (50 feet wide); thence southwardly along said centerline of Paul Avenue to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 2 in Block 1 in said Bobbinray Subdivision; thence 6 westwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Lot 2 to the westernmost corner thereof; thence northeast- wardly along the northwest line of said Lot 2 to the southernmost corner of Lot 3 in said Block 1; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of Lots 3 thru 9 in said Block 1 to the southernmost corner of Lot 14 in Shackleford Court No. 2 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 95 on Page 100 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of Lots 14 thru 19 in said Shackleford Court No. 2 Sub- division to the southeast line of Lot 21 in said subdivision; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of Lots 21 thru 24 in said Shackleford Court No. 2 Subdivision to the southernmost corner of said Lot 24; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of Lots 24 thru 33 in said subdivision and along the northwestern prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of Shackleford Road; thence northeastwardly along said centerline of Shackleford Road to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of property now or formerly owned by Francis E. Gruenloh, as recorded in Deed Book 2943 on Page 263 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest line of said Gruenloh property to the westernmost corner thereof; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Gruenloh property and along the northeastern prolongation of said northwest line to the southwest line of property now or formerly owned by Carl P. Korte, as recorded in Deed Book 2930 on Page 388 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said southwest line 7 of Korte property to the westernmost corner thereof; thence north- eastwardly along the northwest line of said Korte property and along the northeastern prolongation of said northwest line to the centerline of Mullanphy Road; thence northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeast line of property now or formerly owned by A. B. Lambert, Jr., as recorded in Deed Book 2283 on Page 37 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said center- line of Mullanphy Road a distance of 597 feet to a point; thence north 37 degrees 26 minutes east 1,030.25 feet to the southwest line of Share "B" of Graham's Subdivision, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri; thence northwestwardly along said southwest line to the westernmost corner of said Share "B"; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Share "B" to the southwest line of the Union Electric Company Right-of-Way; thence southeastwardly along said southwest Right-of-Way to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the northwest line of property now or formerly owned by Frank W. Gittemeier; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation to the centerline of Humes Lane; thence southeastwardly along said centerline of Humes Lane to its intersection with a line parallel with and 120 feet northwest of the centerline of Shackleford Road; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 220 feet northeast of the centerline of said Humes Lane; thence southeastwardly along last mentioned parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 120 feet southeast of the centerline of Shackleford Road; thence 8 southwestwardly along the last mentioned parallel line to the centerline of Humes Lane; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of Humes Lane to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1961.
