Regular meeting- �
Mayor Vahlsing presiding, and all councilmen present; -
Minutes of last meeting were read and on motion byRiekena
second by Kuper they were approved. as read. carried.
Councilman Merman B Hook introduced an Ordi�ance entitled
Ordinance No 10� and moved its adoption, being an Ordinance
establt,shing c arges, rates or Rentals for use of service rendered.
by the Sanitary Utilities of the Torm of Wellsbur, Iowa and providing
Rules and Regulations for the collection thereof '
Councilman D D Huisman moved that the rules be suspended requireing
Ordinances to be read on three different days, and that Ordinance
No 107 be read as of its second and third reading by its Title only and
the reading just had, be considerd the third reading and that said
Ordinance be placed uron its passage and adoption. Motion seconder' by
Councilman C H Kuper.
Mayor put the question, and the roll call was as follows;
Ayes- J Spieker-J T Riekena-D D Huisman-H B Hook-C H Kuper
Nays- none
Mayor declared motion carried, rules suspended, Ordinance No
107 placed on final passage and adoption upon further reading by
title only by the Clerk.
Ordinane was read twice by title only, by the Clerk )
Motion by Councilman Spieker that Ordinance No. 107 be and the
same id hereby passed and adonted by this council .,azzd that the
Clerk be directed and he is hereby directed to punish same in
accordance with the law.
Motion seconded by councilman Riekena.
Mayor put the question, and the roll call resulted as follows;
Ayes- Spieker- Riekena- Huisman- Hook- Kuper.
Nays- None -
Mayor declared Ordinance no 107 duly adopted and sim-- ed same
in the presence of the council.
The 'Treasurers report was received, read and on motion
placed on file.
The following bills were presented, and on motion by Huisman
seconded by Riekena ordeed maid..
