HomeMy Public PortalAbout00661 O R D I N A N C E NO. 661 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 166 (Ballas Road Trunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 166 (Ballas Road Trunk). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 166 (Ballas Road Trunk) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 BALLAS ROAD TRUNK Beginning at a point on a line parallel with and 1,583 feet south of the eastern prolongation of the south line of Clayton Hills Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 46 on Page 32 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being 720 feet west of the west line of Ballas Road; thence westwardly along said parallel line a distance of 613.55 feet to the intersection with a line parallel with and 1,334 feet west of the west line of Ballas Road; thence northwardly along said parallel line, which is the corporate limits line between the Town of Des Peres and the Town of Town and Country, to the southern line of said Clayton Hills Subdivision; thence westwardly along said southern line to the southwestern corner of said Clayton Hills Subdivision, said point also being the southeast corner of Country Life Acres Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 21 on Page 16 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Country Life Acres Subdivision to the southwest corner of Lot 9 of Country Life Acres Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along a straight line to a point in the western line of said subdivision, said point being 370 feet north of the southwest corner of said subdivision; thence northwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Lot 4 in said subdivision; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 4 a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence northwardly along a line parallel with the west line of said Country Life Acres Subdivision 3 a distance of 350 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly along a straight line to the point of intersection of the centerline of Clayton Road, 60 feet wide, with the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 2 in said Country Life Acres Subdivision; thence northeastwardly along the centerline of Clayton Road to the intersection with the northerly prolongation of the western line of Long Meadows Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 51 on Page 14 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the western line of Long Meadows Subdivision, to the southwesterly corner of said Subdivision, said corner also being the northwesterly corner of Long Meadows Subdivision, Plat No. 2 as recorded in Plat Book 55 on Page 7 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing southwardly along the western line of the last aforesaid subdivision to its southern line; thence eastwardly along the southern line of Long Meadows Subdivision, Plat No. 2 to the eastern line thereof; thence northwardly along the eastern line of the last aforesaid subdivision to a point, said point being the northwesterly corner of a tract of land described in a Deed to David L. Berry, as recorded in Book 3155 on Page 28 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the northern line of said tract to the eastern line thereof, said line also being the western line of Clayton Acres Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 42 on Page 1 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the western line of Clayton Acres Subdivision to the northern line of Lot 12 of said 4 subdivision; thence eastwardly along the northern line of Lot 12 to the western line of Ballas Road, 60 feet wide; thence continuing in an easterly direction to the point of intersection of the centerline of Ballas Road and the northwestwardly prolongation of the centerline of West Point Lane as shown on the plat of West Point Lane Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 63 on Page 17 of the St. louis County Records; thence in a generally eastwardly direction along the centerline of West Point Lane to its intersection with the northwardly prolongation of the eastern line of Lot 8 of West Point Lane Subdivision; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the eastern line of said Lot 8 to the southern line of Lot 8; thence eastwardly along the northern line of Lot 3 of Crystal View Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 48 on Page 21 of the St. Louis County Records to the eastern line of Lot 3 of the aforesaid subdivision; thence southwardly along the eastern line of Lot 3 and the southwardly prolongation thereof across Crystal View Lane, 50 feet wide, to the northeastern corner of lot 8 of the aforesaid subdivision; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 8 to the southeastern corner of Lot 8, said corner also being on the northern line of a tract of land described in a deed to Celeste S. and Robert W. ImMasche, as recorded in Book 2198 on Page 474 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along a straight line to the northeastern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to John A. and Eugenia G. Jung as recorded in 5 Book 946 on Page 611 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing southeastwardly along a straight line across the northeast 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 of Section 22, Township 45 North, Range 5 East to the southern line thereof at a point 200 feet eastwardly from the southwestern corner thereof; thence continuing southeastwardly along a straight line across the southeast 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 of the aforesaid Section 22 to a point being 1,050 feet northwardly of the southern line thereof and 620 feet eastwardly of the western line thereof, said distances being measured perpendicular to the aforesaid southern and western lines, respectively; thence in a southerly direction along a straight line across the southeast 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 of the aforesaid Section 22 to a point being 630 feet northwardly of the southern line thereof and 670 feet eastwardly of the western line thereof, said distances being measured perpendicular to the aforesaid southern and western lines, respectively; thence southeastwardly along a straight line to the intersection of the western line of Bopp Road, 60 feet wide, and the southern line of Section 22; thence southwardly along the western line of Bopp Road to a point, said point being on the eastern line of a tract of land described in a deed to Harold W. Wiese as recorded in Book 2924 on Page 244 of the St. Louis County Records, and 500 feet southwardly from the northeastern corner thereof; thence westwardly along a straight line to a point on the western line of the last aforesaid tract, said point, being common 6 with southeastern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to L. C. and R. M. Kraeuchi as recorded in Book 3161 on Page 413 of the St. Louis County Records; thence in a westwardly direction along the southern line of said tract a distance of 640 feet; thence northwardly along a line parallel with the eastern line of said Kraeuchi property to a point on the northern line thereof; thence westwardly along the northern boundary thereof to a point 200 feet eastwardly from the eastern line of Ballas Road, 60 feet wide; thence southwardly along a line parallel to the eastern line of Ballas Road and 200 feet therefrom to the southern line of a tract of land described in a deed to J. W. Litzinger as recorded in Book 2087 on Page 584 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said tract and a westwardly prolongation thereof to the centerline of Ballas Road, 60 feet wide; thence southwardly along the centerline of Ballas Road to the intersection with the eastwardly prolongation of the southern line of a tract of land described in a Deed to George A. Rekart as recorded in Book 1840 on Page 162 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westerly along said southern line and its eastwardly prolongation to the southwestern corner of said tract, said corner also being the southeastern corner of a tract of land described in a deed to R. M. R. Halm as recorded in Book 2164 on Page 226 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing westwardly along the southern line of said tract to a point 720 feet westwardly of the west line of Ballas Road; thence northwardly along a line 720 7 feet westwardly of the western line of Ballas Road and parallel thereto to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 7, 1961.
