HomeMy Public PortalAbout00669 O R D I N A N C E NO. 669 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 177 (Capitol Hill & Hudson) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 177 (Capitol Hill & Hudson), Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 177 (Capitol Hill & Hudson) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 669 CAPITOL HILL AND HUDSON Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Hudson Drive with the centerline of Capitol Hill Drive; thence northwardly and westwardly along the centerline of said Capitol Hill Drive to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the northeast line of Lot 79 in Capitol Hill Plat No. 3 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 16 on Page 58 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the northeast line of said Lot 79 to the northernmost corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the westernmost line of Lot 79 and 78 in said Capitol Hill Plat No. 3 Subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 78; thence southeastwardly along the southwest lines of Lots 77, 76, 75. 74 and 73 in said Capitol Hill Plat No. 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot 73; thence southeastwardly in a straight line to the westernmost corner of property now or formerly owned by Dr. Orville O. and Dorothy White, as recorded in Deed Book 2998 on Page 559 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the westernmost line of said White property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet south of the south line of said Hudson Drive, said 200 feet being measured at right angles to said south line; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to the easternmost line of said White property; 3 thence northwardly along the easternmost line of said White property and along the northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Hudson Drive; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Hudson Drive to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 7, 1961. 4
