AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metro-
politan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis
County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage
facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area
therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is totally in a watershed
within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain
all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Teson Road 40 feet wide with the center line of Howdershell Road
60 feet wide; thence northeastwardly along said center line of
Howdershell Road, which is also part of the existing boundary of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, approximately 347 feet
to its intersection with the southeast prolongation of the east
line of property now or formerly of Eugene Krahl and wife, which
east line is parallel with and 319 feet east of the west line of
said Krahl property which is also the centerline of Teson Road;
thence North 52 degrees 0 minutes West along said prolongation and
along said East line of Krahl property, a distance of
approximately 560 feet to the northern corner of said property;
thence South 38 degrees 0 minutes West 319 feet to the center line
of Teson Road; thence South 52 degrees 0 minutes East along said
center line of said Teson Road which is also a part of the
existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
approximately 690 feet to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the owners of the land in said area who own all of
the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and
the Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 25, 1962.
