AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis
County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 187 (Bach Avenue)
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the
District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or
drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved
at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be
known as Subdistrict No. 187 (Bach Avenue).
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 187 (Bach
Avenue) shall be as follows:

BACH AVENUE
Beginning at the intersection of the east line of Rowe
Heights Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 50 on Page 43 of the
St. Louis County Records, with the centerline of Westview Drive;
thence northwestwardly along the centerline of said Westview Drive
to the westernmost corner of Lot 1 in said Rowe Heights
Subdivision; thence northwardly along the northwest line of said
Lot 1 to a point, said point being 175 feet north of the
centerline of said Westview Drive, as measured along the northwest
line of said Lot 1; thence southeastwardly along a straight line
to a point on the west line of Highland Terrace Subdivision, as
recorded in Plat Book 10 on Page 79 of the St. Louis County
Records, said point being 200 feet north of the centerline of
Westview Avenue, as measured along said west line; thence
northwardly along said west line of Highland Terrace Subdivision
to its intersection with a line parallel with and 220 feet north
of the centerline of said Westview Avenue, said 220 feet being
measured at right angles to said centerline; thence eastwardly
along said parallel line to the west line of Lot 29 of said
Highland Terrace Subdivision; thence southwardly along the west
line of Lot 29 to the southwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly
along the south line of said Lot 29 to the southeast corner
thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 29 to

its intersection with a line parallel with and 220 feet north of
the centerline of said Westview Avenue, said 220 feet being
measured at right angles to said centerline; thence eastwardly
along said parallel line to the east line of Lot 33 in said
Highland Terrace Subdivision; thence southwardly along the east
line of said Lot 33 to its intersection with the western pro-
longation of a line parallel with and 150 feet north of the north
line of Bach Avenue (40 feet wide); thence eastwardly along said
prolongation and along said parallel line to the east line of Lot
13 in Strohm Place Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 10 on
Page 35 of the St. Louis County records; thence southwardly along
the east line of said Lot 13 and along the southern prolongation
of said east line to the centerline of Bach Avenue; thence
eastwardly along the centerline of Bach Avenue to the centerline
of Hoffman Avenue (40 feet wide); thence eastwardly along the
centerline of Hoffman Avenue to its intersection with a line
parallel with and 200 feet east of the east line of Bach Avenue,
said 200 feet being measured at right angles to said east line;
thence southwardly along said parallel line to the north line of
Lot 6 in said Strohm Place Subdivision; thence eastwardly along
the north line of said Lot 6 and along the eastern prolongation of
said north line to the centerline of Ballas Road; thence
southwardly along the centerline of Ballas Road to the centerline
of Boaz Avenue; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of
Boaz Avenue to the centerline of Bach Avenue; thence

northwestwardly along the centerline of Bach Avenue to its
intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of
property now or formerly owned by Ernest A. Burgi, as recorded in
Deed Book 2187 on Page 231 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
westwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of
said Burgi property to the southwest corner thereof; thence
northwardly along the west line of said Burgi property to the
south line of Lot 10 in said Strohm Place Subdivision; thence
westwardly along the south line of said Lot 10 to the southwest
corner thereof; thence westwardly in a straight line to the point
of intersection of the centerline of Enola Avenue with the
centerline of Windy Hill Drive, (formerly Maple Avenue); thence
westwardly along the centerline of said Windy Hill Drive to the
centerline of Emmerson Avenue; thence westwardly along a straight
line to the southeast corner of property now or formerly owned by
Leo J. and Clara Martin, as recorded in Deed Book 3217 on Page 128
of the St. Louis County Records, said point also being the
southeast corner of Lot 24 in said Highland Terrace Subdivision;
thence westwardly along the south line of said Martin property to
the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the west
line of said Martin property and along the northern prolongation
of said west line to the southeast corner of Lot 26 in aforesaid
Highland Terrace Subdivision; thence westwardly along the south
line of said Lot 26 to the east line of Rowe Heights Subdivision;
thence northwardly along the east line of Rowe Heights Subdivision

to the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 5, 1962.
