HomeMy Public PortalAbout00711AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NOS. 1102 AND 1136 O R D I N A N C E NO. 711 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 189 (Maple Lane) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 189 (Maple Lane). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 189 (Maple Lane) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 711 MAPLE LANE Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard with the southern prolongation of the west line of Sappington Acres Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 63 on Pages 4 and 5 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along said west line to its intersection with the south line of Lot 35 of Sappington Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 33 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line to the southeast corner of said Lot 35; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sappington Acres Subdivision to the northwest corner of property now or formerly owned by R. F. and A. C. Lee, Jr., as recorded in Deed Book 2385 on Page 470 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Edwin A. and F. A. Roussan, as recorded in Deed Book 2685 on Page 631 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Roussan property and said line projected to its intersection with the south line of property, now or formerly owned by Peter Bier, et al, as recorded in Deed Book 2923 on page 70 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line of said Bier property a distance of 275 feet to a point; thence 3 northeastwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 71 of Tara No. 4 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 81 on Page 14 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Tara No. 4 Subdivision to the southwest corner thereof, said point also being the northwest corner of said Bier property; thence southwardly and westwardly along the west and north line of said Bier property to the northeast corner of said Sappington Acres Subdivision; thence westwardly along the north line of said subdivision to the northwest corner thereof; thence southwardly along the west line of said Sappington Acres Subdivision and along the southern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 5, 1962.
