HomeMy Public PortalAbout00733 O R D I N A N C E NO. 733 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 635, adopted October 19, 1961, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 114 (Sackston Woods) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 635, adopted October 19, 1961, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 114 (Sackston Woods), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the areas described as follows: (1) A part of Lot 7 of "Sackston Woods", a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 53, Page 15, St. Louis County Recorder's office, and described as beginning in the south line of said Lot 7, distant 15.25 feet east of the southwest corner thereof in the east line of Sackston Woods Lane North, 50 feet wide; thence eastwardly 200 feet along the south line of said Lot 7; thence northwestwardly 25 feet along a straight line to a point 200 feet northeast of the point of beginning; thence southwestwardly 200 feet to the point of beginning. And, (2) A part of Lot 17 and a part of Beacon Hill Lane, 50 feet wide, in "Beacon Hill", a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 50, Page 39, St. Louis County Recorder's office, and described as beginning in the north line of said Lot 17 at the southwest corner of Lot 15 of said "Beacon Hill"; thence South 02 degrees 22 minutes East 7.38 feet to a point in the northwest line of said Beacon Hill Lane; thence South 23 degrees 47 1/4 minutes East 25 feet to a 2 point in the centerline of said Beacon Hill Lane; thence eastwardly and northeastwardly along said centerline to a point distant North 44 degrees 45 minutes West, 25 feet from the northeast corner of Lot 16 of said "Beacon Hill"; thence South 44 degrees 45 minutes East, 25 feet to said northeast corner of Lot 16; thence North O degrees 15 minutes East, 27 feet more or less to a point in the western prolongation of the south line of property conveyed to Robert L. and Dorothy J. Hartup by deed recorded in Book 4117, Page 433, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence westwardly 49.49 feet along said western prolongation to its intersection with the northwestern line of Beacon Hill Lane; thence southwestwardly along said northwestern line, being on a curve with a radius of 35 feet to the right, 12.01 feet to a point of tangency; thence continuing along the north line of Beacon Hill Lane, North 89 degrees 45 minutes West, 215 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence along the north line of Lot 17, North 89 degrees 45 minutes West, 35 feet to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that said areas are beyond the area capable of being efficiently served by the facilities proposed to be constructed in such Subdistrict and therefore finds that such property would not be benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be con structed in such Subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 635, as amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 114 (Sackston Woods) shall be as follows: 3 (SEE NEXT PAGE) Ord. No. 733 SACKSTON WOODS Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Ballas Road and the eastern prolongation of the south line of Lot 4 in Sackston Woods Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 53 on Page 15 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said south line of Lot 4 to the southwest corner of said Lot 4; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 4 to the southeast corner of Lot 7 of said Sackston Woods Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along the southern line of said Lot 7, 24.21 feet to a point; thence northwestwardly along a straight line 25 feet to a point said point being 200 feet northeast of a point in the south line of said Lot 7 distant 15.25 feet east of the southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence southwestwardly along a straight line 200 feet to the last described point in the south line of said Lot 7; thence southwestwardly along the southern line of said Lot 7 and along the western prolongation of said south line to the centerline of Sackston Woods Lane North; thence southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southern line of Lot 12 of said Sackston Woods Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along said southern line of Lot 12 to the southwest corner of said Lot 12: 4 thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 12 to the northeast corner of property now or formerly owned by Martha Sacks Gelber as recorded in Deed Book 3154 on Page 25 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Gelber property and continuing along the western prolongation of said north line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 1337.82 feet west of the centerline of said Ballas Road; thence northwardly along said parallel line to a point, said point being 1003.16 feet north of the point of intersection of the last mentioned parallel line and the western prolongation of the south line of said Sackston Woods Subdivision; thence westwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 22 of Beacon Hill Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 50 on Page 39 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of Lots 22 and 25 of said Beacon Hill Subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 25; thence northwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Lot 17 of said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence North 87 degrees 38 minutes East, 363.70 feet along the north line of said Lot 17 to the southwest corner of Lot 15 of said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence South 2 degrees 22 minutes East, 7.38 feet to a point in the northwest line of Beacon Hill Lane, 50 feet wide; thence South 23 degrees 47 1/4 minutes East, 25 feet to a point in the centerline of said Beacon Hill Lane; thence eastwardly and northeastwardly along said centerline to a point distant North 44 degrees 45 minutes West, 25 feet from the northeast corner of Lot 16 of said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence South 44 degrees 45 minutes East, 25 feet to 5 said northeast corner of Lot 16; thence North 0 degrees 15 minutes East, 27 feet more or less along the northern prolongation of the east line of said Lot 16 the western prolongation of the south line of property now or formerly owned by Robert L. and Dorothy J. Hartup as recorded in Deed Book 4117 on Page 433 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Hartup property to the southeast corner of said property; thence northwardly along the east line of said Hartup property to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Lot A of said Beacon Hill Subdivision; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along said south line of Lot A to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet west of the west line of property now or formerly owned by George H. & Ella Dielman as recorded in Deed Book 1965 on Page 259 and Deed Book 1944 on Page 65 of the St. Louis County Records; thence south- wardly along said parallel line to the north line of Lot 35 in Beacon Hill Addition Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 68 on Page 32 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 35 to the west line of said Dielman property; thence southwardly along the west line of Dielman property to the southwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the south line of said George H. and Ella Dielman property to the west line of property now or formerly owned by Clarence E. and Eleanor Dielman as recorded in Deed Book 3701 on Page 565 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said west line of Clarence E. and Elanor Dielman property to the northwest corner 6 of said property; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Dielman property and continuing along the eastern prolongation of said north line to the centerline of said Ballas Road; thence southwardly along said centerline of Ballas Road to the point of beginning; The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 23, 1962.
