AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Millstone
Construction, Inc., and Richard E. Harder Contracting Company, for
the construction of Section IV of the sanitary trunk sewer of
Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District in the Gravois Creek Watershed, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Millstone Construction, Inc., and Richard E.
Harder Contracting Company as the lowest responsible bidders, for
the construction of Section IV of the sanitary trunk sewer of
Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District in the Gravois Creek Watershed, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 3rd day of April, 1962, and formally
executed on the 18th day of April, 1962 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and the Acting Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of the District, in the following form:
Ord. No. 735
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 23, 1962.
