HomeMy Public PortalAbout00742AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1330 O R D I N A N C E NO. 742 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 198 (Twill Court) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 198 (Twill Court). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 198 (Twill Court) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 742 TWILL COURT Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of a tract of land now or formerly owned by Florian J. Wieser, as recorded in Deed Book 2934 on Page 559 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Wieser property to a point, said point being the intersection of the eastward prolongation of the north line of Lot 85 of Hathaway Meadows No. 2, as recorded in Plat Book 61 on Page 8 of the St. Louis County Records, with the east line of said Wieser property; thence westwardly along said prolongation to the northeasternmost corner of said Lot 85 of Hathaway Meadows No. 2; thence west- wardly along the north line of Lot 85 of said subdivision a distance of 30 feet to a point; thence northwardly along the east line of Lot 85 of Hathaway Meadows Plat No. 2 a distance of 17.12 feet to the southeast corner of Hathaway Meadows Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 60 on Page 6 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said subdivision to the southwest corner of Lot 6 of said subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of Lots 6, 5 and 4 in said subdivision to the southeast corner of said Lot 4; thence northeastwardly across U.S. Highway No. 67 (200' wide) (formerly State Highway No. 99) to a point, said point being the intersection of the east line of U.S. Highway No. 67 with the 3 south line of Northumberland Drive (50' wide); thence eastwardly along the south line of Northumberland Drive 150 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1 of North Hills Gardens, as recorded in Plat Book 63 on Page 32 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of Lot 1 to the southwest corner of said Lot 1, which point is also the northwest corner of a tract of land now or formerly owned by the School District of Riverview Gardens, as recorded in Deed Book 3255 on Page 565 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said school district's property to the north line of Twillman Homesites, as recorded in Plat Book 46 on Page 38 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of a tract of land now or formerly owned by Charles H. Sills and Ruth E. Sills, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3097 on Page 89 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said Sills property to a point, said point being 271.03 feet north of the southwest corner of said Sills property; thence eastwardly and parallel with the south line of said Sills property to the east line of said property; thence southwardly along the east line of said Sills property to the northeast corner of a tract of land now or formerly owned by Christine Rebello, as recorded in Deed Book 2410 on Page 52 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Rebello property to a point, said point being 160.72 feet west of the northeast corner of said 4 Rebello property; thence southwardly and parallel with the east line of said Rebello property to the north line of the St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad Right-of-Way (100' wide) as recorded in Deed Book 129 on Page 603 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said railroad right-of-way to a point, said point being the intersection of the southern prolongation of the east property line of Lot 6 of said Twillman Homesites with the north line of the St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad Right-of-Way; thence northwardly along said prolongation of the east line of said Lot 6 of Twillman Homesites to the southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence westwardly along the south line of Lot 6 thru 3 in said subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 3 of Twillman Homesites, said corner being 150 feet east of the east line of U.S. Highway No. 67; thence southwardly and parallel with the east line of U.S. Highway No. 67 (200' wide) to the north line of the St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad Right-of-Way; thence westwardly along the north line of said railroad property to the point of beginning. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 7, 1962.
