AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
sole owner of said area; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into
sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District boundary as extended by Ordinance No. 191,
adopted April 21, 1958, said corner being 810 feet south, measured
along the aforesaid boundary extension, of the northwest corner of
property conveyed to William Loudel as recorded in Book 209, Page
232 of the St. Louis County Records; thence South 0 degrees 07
minutes West, a distance of 378.12 feet to the intersection with
the centerline of East Concord Road (40 feet wide), said
centerline being the southern line of Section 28 T 44 N, R 6 E;
thence westwardly along the centerline of East Concord Road, a
distance of 293.11 feet to point; thence North 0 degrees 07
minutes East a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to the
intersection with the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District; thence eastwardly along said existing
boundary to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the sole owner of the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 7, 1962.
